Janae Imani Marable is a director, writer and visual artist based in Los Angeles, CA.

Raised in Turlock, CA, as one of the few multi-racial families in the small town, she used that ‘fish out of water’ experience to keep acceptance and growth central to all she does. She loves stories that capture the hidden joys of being human, through irony, dark humor, and a little bit of drama.

She graduated from UCLA: School of Theater, Film & TV and has interned and worked for ABC Comedy Development, e-One Creative Development, and MGM Studios Publicity/Marketing.
